Welcome 2014!

Happy New Year Peeps!
It's that time again where it is a new year with a new beginning. 2013 has come to a close and 2014 is a new beginning, or so everyone says. Whatever ever your goals may be, I wish you all the best in reaching them!

I guess 2013 was a good year for me. I had my highs and lows but at the end of the day I still have the most important people in my life and that's all that matters to me. Here's a short recap:
*My beautiful niece was brought into this world in February.
*I took a leap of faith and left my old workplace into a more professional working place.
*Became a bit more sociable - I'm usually a hermit crab.
*Went and saw C.N.Blue live in concert in both Melbourne and Sydney.
*Spent more quality time with both sides of the family.
*Flew to the USA and met my bestie Sophia.
*I've never been the type to save more than $15 in my bank account, ever. I'm proud to say that I'm finally maturing as a person and saving up!
*This wasn't even in my goals because I always thought weight loss was impossible. But I managed to drop 13kgs and keep it off. Since my weight loss, determination I've grown closer to my brother and Bach. That makes me super happy!
*I was good. Dye my hair twice and trimmed it a few times and it grew 3 inches below my chest! Then I fell into temptation at the end of the year to bleach, dye and trim it.
Adieu 2013. Thank you for the lessons.

I'm looking forward to reaching and tackling my goals for 2014.
*Grow my hair out again - No promises as to dying it etc but I will be good in maintaining its health.
*Be a better person, friend and girlfriend - More loving, optimistic and encouraging.
*Overthink less, worry less about the little things and enjoy life as it's served on the plate.
*Continue to strive to meet my weight loss goal - Hopefully reach my dream weight of 52~55kg.
*Continue to be committed and expand my gym training regime.
*Just travel. One country is enough but we have some big plans for 2014 so fingers crossed!

I'll keep it minimal like that. If I set the bar too high, I'll either forget my goals or won't bother trying. But anyway most importantly, do things that make you happy. Not for him, her or them but for yourself.
Our last photo of 2013.
I requested a body picture with the boyfriend because I wanted to take one at the end of 2014 just so we could make a comparison of a "then and now". See if our hard work pays off!

But alas, 2013 has finally come to an end and there is so much for me to look forward to in 2014!
