Naked Palettes

Early January I made a purchase to buy the popular Urban Decay Naked Palettes. Not being able to decide which one I wanted more I ended buying all three...and I partly blame my sister-in-law for making me LOL but I managed to get my dear Sophia to send them over to me and I just received them on the 15th of this month!

I'm seriously excited to use it but I have no clue since there's so many natural and neutral tones. They're all lovely mind you! I didn't even want to touch them because they looked too nice but Sophia is insisting I touch them otherwise they would be a waste of my money.

I won't bother with swatches because you can definitely find them everywhere on google and other more talented and knowledgeable beauty bloggers. But I will say that they're well pigmented and there is a blend of matte and shimmery shades. There are so many colours and I found out that the best way to apply these natural shades is by layers. I haven't quite figured that out yet, I think the more that I apply the more of a panda I look.

The basic has only six tones where as the bigger palettes have twelve. The bigger and fuller palettes each come with an application brush. The Naked Palette 2 comes with a double-end brush. I wouldn't say they are the best brushes to use since they feel a bit rough on my eyelids. I will need to invest in a set of eyeshadow brushes one day.

I found this tutorial on Youtube by Oohlalash. Omg she is gorgeous and the makeup is just my style!

I'm excited to learn how to use this so bare with me! Or does anyone know any good tips on how you would apply them? Hit up me, I'd love to learn!

Well, that kind of explains my moods lately. I've been really down in the dumps. What I failed to tell you was that I don't have a job anymore and that really killed my mood for the past month. Doesn't help when your menstrual period takes place and makes you sink even further into your dwelling darkness. Oh, and there have been tiny factors but I am working on it.

I've tried to pick myself up but only to be slammed with rejection emails and for someone who's confidence is diminishing, it hurt. Really hurts. But what can you do? Life will always be full of ups and downs but you still gotta make the most of it and learn to be happy. I've been dwelling too much and unappreciative of a lot of things. I guess my light of happiness was broken and needed a lightbulb change.

Thanks Julie <3
In order to get me started, Julie sent me this picture. The sweetest, she is and I appreciate her efforts. I have to not dwell on the negatives so I can see all of the positives in life.

Wish me luck and everyone, stay happy!

Welcome to the world.

I thought today was going to be an ordinary day. I woke up with ongoing text messages from my brother only to find out that my sister-in-law, Polly's water broke.

me and my beautiful niece!
Pretty shocking since the doctors predicted that my niece would be born in four weeks time. You can tell everyone in my family was ecstatic! I seriously thought he was having like a panic attack since my brother was texting me so much and it only turns out he wanted his phone charger to charge his phone since he was draining it by playing Candy Crush Saga zz

I went to visit in the morning when she was going through mild contractions and bought food for my brother. I'm an awesome sister to have. I left to go home and my brother told us that we weren't allowed to visit since she was still in the birth unit. So my mum and I waited eagerly all afternoon. I took her to the shops and at around 3:31pm he messaged me that Polly was going in to labour.

About an hour and a half later, he tells me that he is a daddy!! I was so shocked that the labour was so fast. She didn't have time to ask for any shots or gas that it was literally an all natural birth! So proud of them both pulling through to the end. Congratulations on your beautiful baby girl!

My beautiful neice goes by the name Chelsea. Welcome to the world beautiful! I cannot wait to watch you grow ♡ You will have amazing parents. A loving mother and an extremely supportive father. A grandmother that's been waiting eagerly for your arrival, a grandfather that will always watch you. An auntie that will love you like a sister and a to-be uncle that will constantly pick on you. You already have like a million cousins who will look after you...and in the end, you're one lucky child!

lol so grumpy looking!

REVIEW: Angelic Eye in Bambi Pink

Hey guys,

I finally got around to doing my review on the Angelic Eye in Bambi Pink! Sorry it took me like a month but in my defence, makeup for pink lenses I must admit is hard and also because I've just been either lazy or too ill to do anything!

Long story short, I  ordered 2 batches of lenses from them a while back along with 2x eyedrops. When I received my orders my one of my eyedrops were missing and I had contacted them at the time to have it resent but I never got a response. A year later, I decided that I needed new lenses and well I contacted them about the eyedrops and they sent it to me along with my order purchase! Faith restored! So guys, make sure to give HoneyColor a try! They have excellent customer service!!

You're just in luck that today I woke up and felt like playing with makeup...I didn't even brush my hair LOL so anyway enjoy the review!

I bought these lenses from HoneyColor HERE.

Diameter: 14.5mm
Water Content: 45%
Base Curve: 8.6mm
Type: 1 Year Disposal

Comfort: 5/5 ★★★★★
I'm actually quite stunned that these lenses are hell comfortable! No problems at all so far ^^

Colour: 5/5 ★★★★★
I was honestly expecting these babies to be a very vibrant pink like that of the GEO Bambi series and when I wore them they were more natural looking. The pink itself doesn't stand out tremendously but it has a nice tri-blend tone. It doesn't look excessive and helps brighten the eyes with a more semi-natural look. I actually love it!

Enlargement: 4/5 ★★★★☆
These lenses do enlarge but I didn't seem to notice it significantly. They seemed to give me a natural look despite it being 14.5mm. It has a thin black outer ring, but it is a faint tint of black so it doesn't make your eyes look too bold.

Overall: 5/5 ★★★★★
These lenses were a real treat and surprise and I would definitely recommend you to try these, I'm very curious to see what they would look like in the browns! These help define your eyes and make them appear to be a lot more vibrant. They're not over-the-top pink and more natural looking for those who want to try more pink circle lenses.
